1. Athlon XP/Thunderbird Processor Identifier
This tool turns the user unfriendly markings from any Athlon XP ot Athlon Thunderbird based processor to human readable information such as CPU frequency, FSB, operating voltage, cache size, multiplier and so on. One of the most useful function is that the script automaticaly identifies whether the CPU core is Thunderbird, Palomino, Thoroughbred (A or B revision), Barton or Thorton.

2. HWspirit's Modified NvApps.xml Profiles ver. 08/04/2005
The purpose of this project is to test different applications for SLI support and create adequate profiles according to the results (for single GPU or multi GPU). Because as it seems nVidia is not putting a lot of effort on testing application for SLI support and adding profiles for them. For starting point we used nvapps.xml from Forceware 71.80 Beta drivers and started by fixing the problems we noted in our "Lets talk about SLI..." article, after that we continue to add new profiles.
Current status: 103 application profiles, 18 with disabled and 85 with enabled SLI support (68 in AFR and 17 in SFR mode). Click here for the support forum.

3. HWspirit.com RSS News reader Widget
This Widget reads displays the titles of the new currently on the main page of this website and provides direct links for reading them. Up to 15 titles are displayed by default, you can change the number from 1 to 15 in the preferences. The default time for refreshing the RSS content is set to 1 hour (60 minutes), you can freely change it. If you don't know what a widget is, you should check the Konfabulator.

4. Quake 4 Demo Loop
There is no direct way to make a Quake 4 demo file run again and again itself automatically with the timedemo command... and since there are not much "heavy" OpenGL games suitable for stability testing we have to think of some kind of a workaround. Here is a batch (.bat) file that can turn the Quake 4 game into a great testing tool for stability testing of overclocked and non-overclocked videocards and PCs.
